India के नए Hiring Hubs: Metro Cities के बाहर बढ़ रही Jobs, इन शहरों पर कंपनियों की नजर

भारत का job market धीरे-धीरे traditional metro cities से बाहर फैल रहा है। Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR और Hyderabad जैसे बड़े employment hubs के साथ अब कई Tier-2 और emerging cities भी कंपनियों के लिए talent और business expansion का विकल्प बन रहे हैं।
हालिया Genius HRTech report के मुताबिक, 69% organisations ने पिछले दो वर्षों में Tier-2 और Tier-3 cities से hiring में 30% से ज्यादा बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की है। वहीं 55% respondents का अनुमान है कि अगले तीन वर्षों में उनकी organisations की majority hiring Tier-2 और Tier-3 cities की ओर shift हो सकती है।
क्यों बदल रहा है Hiring का नक्शा?
कंपनियों के लिए बड़े metros में office space, salaries और operating costs काफी ज्यादा हो सकते हैं। दूसरी तरफ छोटे और emerging cities में relatively कम operating costs के साथ skilled talent उपलब्ध है।
इसके अलावा infrastructure, connectivity, universities और digital connectivity में सुधार ने भी इन शहरों को corporate expansion के लिए ज्यादा relevant बनाया है।
कौन-कौन से शहर बन रहे हैं नए Job Hubs?
हालिया analysis में Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Indore, Coimbatore, Lucknow, Kochi, Chandigarh और Bhubaneswar जैसे शहरों को आने वाले वर्षों में employment और business activity के लिए महत्वपूर्ण locations के तौर पर देखा गया है।
वहीं LinkedIn की 2026 ‘Cities on the Rise’ list में Visakhapatnam, Ranchi, Vijayawada, Nashik, Raipur, Rajkot, Gwalior, Agra, Jammu और Varanasi जैसे non-metro cities में job-market momentum दर्ज किया गया था।
Lucknow भी क्यों बन रहा है महत्वपूर्ण?
इस बदलाव में Lucknow भी एक महत्वपूर्ण emerging market के रूप में सामने आ रहा है। शहर में services economy, connectivity और infrastructure का विस्तार हुआ है। Companies के लिए technology, customer support और दूसरे corporate functions के लिए Lucknow एक potential location बन रहा है।
GCC expansion को लेकर एक 2026 report ने भी Lucknow को उन 14 emerging locations में शामिल किया है जिन्हें companies future capability-centre expansion के लिए evaluate कर रही हैं।
Companies का ‘Plus-One’ Model
इस बदलाव का मतलब यह नहीं है कि Mumbai, Bengaluru या Delhi-NCR से companies अपना पूरा business हटाने वाली हैं।
कई organisations “plus-one” strategy अपना रही हैं। यानी मुख्य operations बड़े metros में बने रहते हैं, लेकिन नई teams और offices emerging cities में भी establish किए जाते हैं। इससे companies को अलग-अलग talent markets तक पहुंच मिलती है और किसी एक शहर पर dependence कम हो सकती है।
युवाओं के लिए क्या बदलेगा?
अगर यह trend आगे बढ़ता है तो छोटे शहरों के professionals के लिए सबसे बड़ा बदलाव यह हो सकता है कि उन्हें अच्छे corporate opportunities के लिए हमेशा Bengaluru, Mumbai या Delhi shift करने की जरूरत न पड़े।
Local job opportunities बढ़ने से talent अपने hometown या nearby cities में रहकर technology, finance, customer support, business services और manufacturing जैसे sectors में career बना सकता है।
हालांकि हर emerging city में job growth एक जैसी नहीं होगी। Infrastructure, skilled talent availability, connectivity और local business ecosystem जैसे factors यह तय करेंगे कि कौन-से cities लंबे समय तक companies को attract कर पाते हैं।
क्या Metro Cities की जगह ले लेंगे छोटे शहर?
फिलहाल ऐसा कहना जल्दबाजी होगी। India’s major metros अभी भी corporate offices और GCC activity का बड़ा हिस्सा रखते हैं। लेकिन emerging cities का बढ़ता role यह जरूर दिखाता है कि India का employment ecosystem अब सिर्फ कुछ बड़े शहरों तक सीमित नहीं रह रहा।
निष्कर्ष
India में hiring का geography बदल रहा है। Companies अब केवल बड़े metros पर निर्भर रहने के बजाय Tier-2 और emerging cities में भी talent और business opportunities तलाश रही हैं।
Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Indore, Coimbatore, Lucknow और कई अन्य cities आने वाले वर्षों में इस बदलाव का हिस्सा बन सकते हैं। अगर infrastructure और skilled workforce का विकास इसी दिशा में जारी रहा, तो भारत का अगला बड़ा employment map पहले से कहीं ज्यादा distributed हो सकता है।
