AI Pilot से Production तक क्यों नहीं पहुंच पा रही Indian Companies? Data, Cost और Governance बन रहे हैं सबसे बड़े Roadblocks

भारत में Artificial Intelligence को लेकर कंपनियों का enthusiasm लगातार बढ़ रहा है। Customer support से लेकर finance, HR, marketing, software development और operations तक AI के use cases तेजी से सामने आ रहे हैं। लेकिन अब enterprise AI की सबसे बड़ी समस्या यह नहीं रह गई है कि AI क्या कर सकता है?
असल सवाल बन गया है—AI को pilot project से निकालकर बड़े scale पर production में कैसे लगाया जाए?
Oracle India के Senior Director और Head of Technology Cloud Vivek Gupta के अनुसार Indian enterprises में AI को लेकर interest काफी मजबूत है, लेकिन execution अभी भी बड़ा challenge है। उनके मुताबिक करीब 25% CXOs ने ही AI solutions deploy किए हैं, यानी बड़ी संख्या में organisations अभी experimentation, pilots या early deployment stage में हैं।
यही gap अब Indian enterprise AI story का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा बन रहा है।
AI Pilot और Production में इतना बड़ा अंतर क्यों?
किसी कंपनी के लिए AI chatbot बनाना, internal knowledge assistant तैयार करना या एक predictive model का demo दिखाना relatively आसान हो सकता है। लेकिन उसी solution को हजारों employees, लाखों customers या critical business processes के साथ जोड़ना पूरी तरह अलग challenge है।
Pilot में limited data, limited users और controlled environment होता है। Production में real customers, sensitive information, regulatory requirements, cybersecurity, system integration और measurable ROI सामने आते हैं।
यहीं से कई AI projects की complexity बढ़ जाती है।
Oracle के enterprise AI discussions भी इसी direction की ओर इशारा करते हैं—AI का business value तभी बनता है जब वह trusted enterprise data, business context और actual workflows के साथ जुड़ता है।
1. Data Readiness सबसे बड़ा Roadblock
AI model कितना भी powerful क्यों न हो, अगर company का data fragmented, outdated या inconsistent है तो production AI का performance कमजोर हो सकता है।
बड़ी Indian companies में data अलग-अलग systems में मौजूद होता है—ERP, CRM, HR software, spreadsheets, emails, databases और पुराने legacy applications में।
Pilot के दौरान team किसी एक dataset को साफ करके model बना सकती है। लेकिन production deployment के लिए सवाल बदल जाते हैं:
- कौन-सा data trusted है?
- किस employee को कौन-सा data access मिलेगा?
- Data कितनी बार update होगा?
- अलग-अलग systems के data को कैसे connect किया जाएगा?
- AI के answer की accuracy कैसे verify होगी?
- Sensitive customer या financial information को कैसे protect किया जाएगा?
इसलिए Enterprise AI केवल LLM या chatbot project नहीं है। यह data architecture का भी project है।
Oracle भी enterprise AI के लिए trusted data, business semantics और workflow integration को core building blocks मानता है।
2. Model Quality से ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण है Business Context
AI model language समझ सकता है, लेकिन जरूरी नहीं कि वह किसी particular company के business rules समझता हो।
उदाहरण के लिए एक generic AI customer की query का जवाब दे सकता है। लेकिन banking, insurance, healthcare या manufacturing company में उसे internal policies, product rules, customer history और regulatory requirements के context में जवाब देना होगा।
यही कारण है कि production AI को company के existing workflows से जोड़ना जरूरी हो जाता है।
Oracle का current enterprise AI approach भी इसी idea पर जोर देता है कि AI को केवल standalone chatbot की तरह नहीं, बल्कि उन workflows में embed किया जाए जहां actual business decisions और actions होते हैं।
3. Cost Control भी बड़ा सवाल
AI pilot बनाना एक बात है, लेकिन उसे 24×7 production environment में चलाना दूसरी बात।
Production deployment में सिर्फ model cost नहीं होती। Infrastructure, cloud compute, data processing, storage, integration, monitoring, security और human oversight की भी cost होती है।
अगर company हर छोटी task के लिए expensive model इस्तेमाल करती है तो AI का ROI जल्दी कमजोर हो सकता है।
इसलिए enterprises अब सिर्फ यह नहीं पूछ रहे कि “AI कितना accurate है?”
वे यह भी पूछ रहे हैं:
“AI से business को कितनी value मिलेगी और उस value को generate करने में कितनी cost आएगी?”
2026 में enterprise AI conversation adoption से आगे बढ़कर ROI, scalability और measurable business outcomes की तरफ जा रही है।
4. Governance और Security के बिना Production मुश्किल
Pilot में AI को limited employees के साथ test किया जा सकता है। लेकिन production में security और governance mandatory हो जाते हैं।
मान लीजिए किसी AI agent को company के internal database, finance system या customer records तक access दिया गया। तब सवाल सिर्फ यह नहीं है कि agent सही answer देता है या नहीं।
सवाल यह है कि:
Agent को क्या access दिया गया है?
वह कौन-सा action ले सकता है?
उस action की approval किसके पास है?
अगर AI ने गलती की तो responsibility किसकी होगी?
इसीलिए enterprise AI में role-based access, audit trails, privacy controls, monitoring और human oversight महत्वपूर्ण हो रहे हैं। Oracle के AI Data Platform में भी granular access controls, audit logging, data lineage और governance को production AI के core components के रूप में रखा गया है।
5. “AI बना दिया” और “AI को Business में चला दिया” अलग चीजें हैं
Indian companies के लिए अगला phase शायद सबसे ज्यादा इसी distinction पर depend करेगा।
एक company के पास दस AI pilots हो सकते हैं, लेकिन अगर वे किसी core business process को improve नहीं कर रहे हैं तो उनका business impact limited रहेगा।
दूसरी तरफ एक छोटा AI system अगर:
- customer support time कम करता है,
- fraud detection improve करता है,
- supply-chain planning बेहतर करता है,
- employees का repetitive work automate करता है,
- या sales conversion बढ़ाता है,
तो वह ज्यादा valuable साबित हो सकता है।
इसलिए production AI का success number of pilots से नहीं, बल्कि completed workflows और measurable outcomes से measure करना ज्यादा meaningful हो सकता है। Oracle India की current enterprise AI thinking भी outcome-driven deployment और existing business processes में AI integration पर जोर देती है।
Indian Companies के लिए आगे का सही रास्ता क्या हो सकता है?
AI adoption को तेज करने के लिए companies को हर जगह AI लगाने की बजाय पहले ऐसे use cases identify करने होंगे जहां business impact clearly measurable हो।
इसके लिए पांच-layer approach ज्यादा practical हो सकती है:
1. Use Case: पहले तय करें कि AI किस specific business problem को solve करेगा।
2. Data: उस problem के लिए trusted और usable data तैयार करें।
3. Integration: AI को existing applications और workflows से connect करें।
4. Governance: access, privacy, security, monitoring और human approval की व्यवस्था करें।
5. ROI: deployment के बाद productivity, revenue, cost saving या customer experience में measurable improvement track करें।
यानी AI strategy का centre अब केवल model selection नहीं रह सकता।
क्या Indian Enterprises AI में पीछे हैं?
ऐसा कहना सही नहीं होगा।
India में AI experimentation और investment तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं। Oracle खुद कहता है कि India digital transformation से आगे बढ़कर AI-driven economy की तरफ बढ़ रहा है और manufacturing, healthcare, financial services और government जैसे sectors में AI के practical applications सामने आ रहे हैं।
Problem adoption की willingness से ज्यादा scale और execution की है।
यही कारण है कि आने वाले समय में AI winners वे companies नहीं होंगी जिनके पास सबसे ज्यादा AI pilots होंगे।
बल्कि वे organisations आगे निकल सकती हैं जो AI को अपने data, people, applications और business workflows के साथ effectively integrate कर पाएंगी।
AI का अगला Battle Model Quality नहीं, Execution है
Generative AI की शुरुआती race में सवाल था कि कौन-सा model ज्यादा powerful है। अब enterprise world में competition धीरे-धीरे बदल रहा है।
अब सवाल है:
कौन अपनी AI capability को सुरक्षित, affordable और measurable तरीके से production में scale कर सकता है?
Indian companies के सामने data readiness, cost control, cybersecurity, governance और legacy-system integration जैसी चुनौतियां हैं। लेकिन यही challenges AI transformation की अगली opportunity भी बन सकते हैं।
AI Pilot से Production तक का सफर इसलिए लंबा है क्योंकि production में सिर्फ technology नहीं, पूरी organisation बदलनी पड़ती है।
और आने वाले enterprise AI phase में शायद यही सबसे बड़ा competitive advantage होगा—AI को experiment की तरह नहीं, business infrastructure की तरह चलाने की क्षमता।
