Daughter of a milkman, studied under cowshed is set to join as 1st class Magistrate.

Sincerity, hard work and undying desire to succeed is key to fulfill one’s dreams and this has been amply proved by Sonal Sharma, daughter of a milkman, who is set to become a judge after cracking the Rajasthan Judicial Service (RJS) examination.

Studying in absence of bare minimum facilities the 26-year-old from Udaipur studied under a cowshed all her life and managed to stand first in her BA, LLB and LLM exams and completed one year training.

According to a report by The Times Of India she will be posted as a first-class magistrate in a Sessions court in Rajasthan,The results of competitive exam were announced last year in December but Sonal was put on the waiting list because she just fell short of by one mark in the general cut off list.

However, luck favored her when a few candidates who were selected did not join the service and the government then called the candidates from the waiting list to fill up those vacancies, said Sonal’s mentor Satyendra Singh Sankhla .

Sonam used to pedal her way to the college on a bicycle before the start of her classes and utilize that time to study in the library. That’s not all, she had used empty oil cans to make a table for herself to study.”Most of the time, my chappals would be smeared with the cow dung. When I was in school, I felt ashamed to tell my classmates that I was from a milkman’s family. But now, I feel proud of my parents,” she told TOI.

Succcess story of Sonam should be a eye opener for all those who despite of all the amenities fail to achieve success in life and are always ready with excuses for their failures.
